B- RC type as colloidal dispersion, is mainly used for dry syrup, suspensions, also as oil-in-water emulsion and cream stabilizer ,widely used in slow release micro pill coating.
-6, Function of HPMC:
Safe and non-toxic pharmaceutical excipients , can be used as film coating materials.
A- Used as a tablet binder.
B- As a thickener for eye drops.
C- Used as topical preparations, protective colloid coagulation creams or ointments, stabilizer, emulsion and suspension agent, also can be used for rubber plastic bandages.
